About Me

Hi, I'm L.K. "Aka" Red. I'm a teenage Christian homeschooler, and I'm so thankful I have a relationship with my Savior. Philippians 4: 6-7! I'm very stubborn and determined, yet also a huge extrovert as I love to talk to people! #socialbutterfly 



I have 3 siblings: Bryna ( second youngest ), Rand ( third youngest ), and Champ ( the youngest ). 



My sister and I have played softball for about six years! We are currently playing varsity for our school team! I played pitcher/catcher for middle school, and I play right field for varsity. #KNIGHTS

I LOVE playing the piano! My sister and I are into our third year, and I'm enjoying every minute of it! I also bet our teacher is litter than yours! Love ya, Ryan! 



I have two dogs ( Aubie to the right and Bluebell to the left )! Bluebell is a little shi-poo ( half shih tzu, half poodle ) and Aubie is a full blooded shih tzu. 



My family and I are HUGEEEEE Auburn fans and Disney fans!! 




Reading is something you can catch me doing a lot as well! I love the Twilight Saga, the In-Between series by Jenny B. Jones, and the Shatter Me series! 

I'm also in love with the beach! Ugh, I'm so lucky I live near one of the most beautiful places on earth!!!! <3 






And to add to my huge list of "About Me," I also LOVE writing!  That's why I started this blog!! I've been writing since the age of four and I have now pretty much decided that's where I wanna go with my life! Writing, writing, writing! I'm also currently working on my first draft of my debut novel, which I will be updating you guys on soon once I reach 200 followers on Insta ( im_red11 ) ...  I hope that you'll follow me on my journey by subscribing for more updates!

Aspiring Future Author and Where I'm at so Far

  Ever since I was very little ( probably around the age of four ) I aspired to be an author. I would write little books and ask my mom to publish them for me... I would beg and not understand why I wasn't a world famous author, yet. Then again I was only four. To this day there is something about just telling a story. Live for Something Eternal

Yo, yo, yo. What's up all my fellow readers? My life has been EXTREMELY crazy! But guess what? My softball team and I are district champions! Whoop whoop! We have Regionals this Thursday, so wish us luck! Today I really wanted to write about this verse. I feel like there's so much to talk about and take from it! For to me, to live is Christ  and to die is gain. Philippians 1:21  What does this verse mean to you? Well, let's dissect the first part: For to me, to live is Christ   For to me, to live is Christ. What does that mean? It means that while here on this earth our goal should be to live for Christ. In everything we do, live for Christ. That could be as simple as being a good example, showing Christ's love in school, being a friend to someone who has no friends. 14 Goals for Year 14

14... I've officially been that age for four days now. - I'm currently on my beach trip... The sun has been seeping into my pores ever since I have gotten to the beach house, making me look pink ( of course, I've been wearing a big layer of sunscreen to cover my pale skin )! I love being able to spend time with family that live quite a while away. Snorkeling has also been an absolute blast these past couple days, and I've found some very pretty shells to add to my collection! Although, the water has been extremely clear, so I'm surprised I have found anything! - I'm often catching myself now thinking of me as a 13 year old. I have to then remind myself "No, Lyla, you're 14 now," and it's crazy! I'm still trying to get accustomed to my new age. Sorry, 14, I didn't mean to offend you.
